Intermediate level (“blue trail” in Spanish): Pllan d’Estan. Up to 18 kilometres long. Suitable for intermediate skiers. It starts and finishes in the Pllan del Hospital. It is a beautiful path with long climbs and slopes. Unevenness: 150 meters.

The reconstructed building Hospital de Benasque, offers the following services: lodging, restaurant La FuenRoya, snack-bar, the Spanish Ski School office, equipment and snowshoes rental and parking.

Advance level (“red trail” in Spanish): Pllan de la Besurta. Up to 5 kilometres long. It is a technical trail with long climbs and slopes inside the forest. It leads to the Villamorta’s lake. Unevenness: 60 meters. It offers delightful views over the Maladeta’s glacier.

Five kilometres. Suitable for snowshoeing. It starts in the Pllan del Hospital and follows the path that leads to the hospital of the Aran’s Valley. It finishes in the “Forau de Aigualluts” (at 2,000 meters high). There, the water that comes from the Aneto’s glacier disappears and flows through an underground passage to the Aran’s Valley.

Llanos del Hospital is a starting point for a wide variety of excursions with cross-country skies, because it is situated in the foothill of the Aneto-Maladeta’s massif (the highest of the Pyrenees).
It is usual to see skiers going to the glaciers in June. During the winter season it is possible to ski from the Alba’s peak (3,118 meters high) to the parking. That means a steady unevenness of 1,368 meters long.

Beginners level (denominated as “green trail” in Spanish): Pllan del Hospital. From 5 to 7 kms, for beginners. Located near the Hospital’s building. It is suitable to learn skiing. It features two very flat kilometres. Unevenness: 50 meters.
